About Monisha “Six” Holmes - she/her

Monisha (she/her) is a Master of Social Work (MSW), writer, and model.

She possesses a master’s degree in social work from Columbia University in the City of New York. While at Columbia University, she specialized in Contemporary Social Issues and concentrated on Social Enterprise Administration. Before that, she attended Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and minored in Biology.

Monisha’s work as an astrologer has been featured on Bustle, ShondaLand, Cosmopolitan Magazine, and Metro.UK, Hello Giggles, Instyle, Vice, and Today.com. Monisha’s approach to astrology focuses on personal development and self-discovery. As an astrologer and mental health advocate, Monisha’s message is that “healing is possible.”

Monisha enjoys engaging in philanthropic efforts. As a part of Black Women Being, Monisha is the co-host of the podcast “Hoeteppery.”
